Recognizing and
committing ourselves to the Christian way of life opens us up to new
experiences and a new way of looking at things. It is the Christian
Perspective, Through it, we are united with God and his creation that surrounds
us. We will be looked upon differently and judged differently than other
people. There will always be someone waiting to criticize us. We will be
scrutinized for what we say and what we do. Our actions are judged by a
different standard and most unfairly.
But this is not necessarily a bad thing. When we claim our birthright as
Children God and profess the Crucified Christ we are standing up against
everything that society represents. We recognize Jesus Christ as our savior and
our God. We have surrendered everything over to him and try to live our lives
by the teachings of Sacred Scripture and the Holy Mother Church. Christ is our
light and our salvation. Through that recognition we become the Light of the
World, showing a better way, a wonderful way to experience this world. This way is through spirituality, worship,
and prayer.
What society has
to offers is something different. While we have lifted up our spirituality and
have nourished it, there are those who have embraced the materialistic aspects
of creation; putting more importance on it than the spiritual origin which is
God. Thus an unconscious war commences: a war between the flesh and the spirit.
Paul tells us that the flesh and the spirit are not compatible, so either the
flesh dominates the spirit or the spirit dominates the flesh. If we exercise
our spirit and strengthen, it can break away from the flesh and bring the mind
with it. Here, we can be risen to greater heights of awareness, feeling things
that we were never capable of feeling before. From our earliest years, we are
taught the five senses: touch, taste, hearing, seeing, and the sense of smell.
Yet, there is so much more. When these are actually subdued, a new world and a
new life is revealed. There is so much more than the purely physical. The
physical enslaves us and shows us only what is directly before us; telling us
that what we see is the ultimate truth. But is it? As Christians, we challenge
this very notion and dare to go beyond the boundaries that are set before us.
We believe that there is so much more than that and dare to search beyond what
is purely material. We choose to unite ourselves to the creator.
The Sacred
Scriptures tell us that there will be much suffering but, through that
suffering, we will be able to achieve a higher awareness of ourselves and of
the presence of God who loves us so much. Sadness will eventually give way to
joy. When we suffer with God he will always carry us through and then nothing
will remain but the love he has for us. Through suffering we gain an ever
clearer understanding of this. It is suffering with a purpose and it never
lasts forever.

Reconocer y comprometiéndonos con la forma de vida cristiana nos abre a
nuevas experiencias y una nueva manera de ver las cosas. Es la perspectiva
cristiana, A través de ella, estamos unidos con Dios y su creación que nos
rodea. Estaremos contemplamos de manera diferente y juzgados de manera
diferente a los demás. Siempre habrá alguien esperando para criticarnos. Vamos
a ser examinadas por lo que decimos y lo que hacemos. Nuestras acciones son
juzgadas por una norma diferente y más injustamente. Pero esto no es
necesariamente una mala cosa. Cuando reclamamos nuestro derecho de nacimiento
como hijos de Dios y profesamos Cristo Crucificado estamos de pie en contra de
todo lo que la sociedad representa. Reconocemos a Jesucristo como nuestro
Salvador y nuestro Dios. Hemos entregado todo a él y tratar de vivir nuestras
vidas por las enseñanzas de la Sagrada Escritura y la Santa Madre Iglesia.
Cristo es nuestra luz y nuestra salvación. A través de ese reconocimiento nos
convertimos en la Luz del Mundo, mostrando una mejor manera, una maravillosa manera
de experimentar este mundo. De esta manera es a través de la espiritualidad, la
adoración y la oración.
Lo que la sociedad tiene que ofrece es algo diferente. Si bien hemos
levantado nuestra espiritualidad y hemos nutrido, están aquellos que han abrazado
los aspectos materialistas de la creación; poniendo más importancia a lo que el
origen espiritual que es Dios. Por lo tanto una guerra inconsciente comienza:
una guerra entre la carne y el espíritu. Pablo nos dice que la carne y el
espíritu no son compatibles, por lo que o bien la carne domina el espíritu o el
espíritu domina la carne. Si ejercitamos nuestro espíritu y fortalecer, puede
romper con la carne y llevar la mente con él. Aquí, podemos ser resucitados a
mayores alturas de la conciencia, sintiendo cosas que nunca éramos capaces de
sentir antes. Desde nuestros primeros años, se nos enseña los cinco sentidos:
tacto, gusto, oído, vista y el sentido del olfato. Sin embargo, hay mucho más.
Cuando éstos son en realidad sometidos, un nuevo mundo y una nueva vida se
revela. Hay mucho más de lo puramente físico. La física nos esclaviza y nos
muestra sólo lo que está directamente delante de nosotros; que nos dice que lo
que vemos es la verdad última. Pero, ¿es? Como cristianos, desafiamos esta
misma idea y se atreven a ir más allá de los límites que se establecen ante
nosotros. Creemos que hay mucho más que eso y se atreven a buscar más allá de
lo puramente material. Decidimos unirnos al creador.
Las Sagradas Escrituras nos dicen que habrá mucho sufrimiento, pero, a
través de ese sufrimiento, seremos capaces de lograr un mayor conocimiento de
nosotros mismos y de la presencia de Dios que nos ama tanto. Tristeza,
finalmente, dará paso a la alegría. Cuando sufrimos con Dios que siempre nos
llevará a través y entonces nada se mantendrá, pero el amor que él tiene para
nosotros. A través del sufrimiento que ganamos una comprensión cada vez más
clara de esto. Está sufriendo con un propósito y nunca dura para siempre.
