We are invited to partake in a very special relationship with our God. To do this we must first recognize the Infinite Nature of his existence. Time and space are irrelevant to God since he created them both. He is beyond time and space. We as human beings are regulated by time and space so it is natural for us to try regulate everything else in our Creation Experience by these standards and rules. The sun rises and the sun sets. People are born, they live, then they die. This holds true in our faith-life also. Over 2,000 years ago Our Lord Savior Jesus Christ was born unto the Virgin Mary and became man. He was crucified, died, and was buried. On the third day he rose from the dead. Forty days after his resurrection he ascended into heaven and sent the Holy Spirit down upon his Apostles and disciples. Yes, these events did happen. Yet, it must also be understood that the Holy Trinity has been present eternally. As John wrote in his Gospel: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” The Word meaning Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit, the Love of God, was also present and actively working throughout Creation.

The Holy Trinity has been working throughout Creation in the most beautiful and wonderful way. The Love of God has always been present and will be present. We are part of that creation and that makes us part of the experience. God is always in our midst and God is constantly involved in our lives. Jesus stands before us with his loving arms extended beckoning us forward to join in this wonderful relationship. The Holy Spirit calls to us to make that step forward to join the Father through Jesus Christ. The invitation has always been extended and it is up to us to accept it. That same invitation will not be revoked until the day of Final Judgment.

God loves us so much that he gave us the gift of Independent Thought to participate in the perfection of the Trinity. Original Sin was our decision to turn away from that perfection and live our lives according to our own Free Will, thoughts, and desires instead of that of God. Our nature was then corrupted further by our own decisions. We are not perfect and our history is reflective of that. All of us will never be perfect because of that initial separation.

Inside of us there is a longing which is the call from God to once again join him. This call can easily be ignored or misinterpreted because of our sinful nature. We are torn between our disordered desires and the longing to be with our Creator. Imagine a struggle between a parent and a child: the child knows that the parent loves them but the child also struggles for independence. Why do children rebel? It is a natural progression in child development. Us being Children of God have rebelled and continue to rebel. It is when we acknowledge this rebellious state and take measures to correct it that we start to be repaired. It is through the work of the Holy Trinity that we can start to be healed. It is through the Holy Trinity that we can start to fully participate in God's Creation around us.

Through the Holy Trinity we can realize God's Creation for what it is: wonderful, beautiful, and glorious. This includes us in a most special way. We are constantly tempted to ignore this and live our lives according to the imperfect society that has been built up around us. In fact, we are encouraged to do this through the demands and visions set forth by man's additions to creation. We are constantly sent the message that what society has built is better than what God has to offer. Again, this is part of our rebellious nature. The Biblical Story of the Tower of Babel is reflective of our constant struggle to be better than God; to do better than God. In the end, it is a fruitless effort. We will always fall short from perfection if we ignore God and pursue our goals without God.

If the Trinity is working throughout Creation constantly and is present amongst us, how can we continue to try and separate it from our existence? It is impossible. We have all worked on something in our lives that has not achieved the expected result. Even before the task reached its completion we knew it was going to fail. It made us feel miserable and incomplete. That same feeling will always be present if we do not recognize God in our lives. We cannot live alone and expect to build ourselves up to a level of happiness, fulfillment, and completeness without God. It is impossible.

When we embrace God we can then realize that everything else that society and man has to offer is immaterial. We can be happy knowing that we are loved by God. We can listen to him and be guided by him. He is here to help us and will never abandon us. He is our craftsman who has the ability to build us up to greater heights. He can also repair us when we are damaged. Nothing is beyond repair. Nothing that we do to ourselves or other people cannot be undone. Sin and failure is not permanent. It is a temporary state until we surrender to the Will of God. To do this we must recognize that God loves us, turn to God and return to him.

The Holy Spirit is loving us, Jesus is welcoming us, and the Father is waiting for us.

Se nos invita a participar en una relación muy especial con nuestro Dios. Para ello, debemos reconocer primero la naturaleza infinita de su existencia. Tiempo y espacio son irrelevantes para Dios ya que él creó a ambos. Él está más allá del tiempo y del espacio. Nosotros como seres humanos estamos regulados por el tiempo y el espacio por lo que es natural para nosotros intentar regular todo lo demás en nuestra experiencia de creación de estas normas y reglas. El sol sale y se pone el sol. Las personas nacen, viven, y luego mueren. Esto es cierto en nuestra vida de fe también. Hace más de 2.000 años el Señor Salvador Jesucristo nació a la Virgen María y se hizo hombre. Fue crucificado, muerto y sepultado. Al tercer día resucitó de entre los muertos. Cuando aceptamos a Dios, entonces podemos darnos cuenta de que todo lo que la sociedad y el hombre tiene que ofrecer es inmaterial. Podemos ser felices sabiendo que somos amados por Dios. Podemos escucharlo y ser guiados por él. Él está aquí para ayudarnos, y nunca nos abandonará. Él es nuestro artesano que tiene la habilidad para construir a una mayor altura. También nos puede reparar cuando están dañados. Nada está más allá de la reparación. Nada de lo que nos hacemos a nosotros mismos oa otras personas no se puede deshacer. Today we celebrate the Birthday of the Church. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit in the form of fiery tongues down upon his Apostles and disciples. They were commissioned to go out and baptize in the name of The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, to evangelize the Faith, and to build up the Kingdom of God here on this earth. This event marked the beginning of the Apostolic Age and the beginning of the Holy Mother Church. It is through this event that we now commission ourselves as Children of God to ask the Holy Spirit to move us in much the same way to a betterment of our own lives and a new commitment to our faith so as to live our lives to its fullest.

The Holy Spirit is the Love of God. It is through the Spirit that we feel the presence of our God and know that he is with us. The Spirit calls us forth to live our lives with God and recognize him as our Father. There is a oneness with God through the Spirit. He is always with us and has the ability to guide us, protect us, and to love us all the time. We are invited to partake in a beautiful relationship that has the ability to shape our every action, feeling, and emotion. Our relationship with God should be the most important relationship that we should ever have. By acknowledging the presence of the Spirit and letting it transform us with its presence will enable us to be complete. We cannot just rely on society telling us what to do. We need to be guided by God since he is our creator and master.

Each of us has a unique relationship with God. No one's Journey of Faith is the same as another person's. Paul mentions in his Letter to the Corinthians that there is one Spirit but many different spiritual gifts. These gifts are given to all of us and makes us a unique creation. We are all special We have a choice to use these gifts and talents correctly or we can ignore them. If we do in fact ignore them and live our lives without God we will never be truly happy. If we look back at our lives and recall when we made mistakes, a pattern can be seen. It is when we turned away from God or ignored him when things were bad. The challenge is to stay with him and to listen to what he wants us to do.

We have all been given different talents and abilities. These can range from the simplest skill to the most impressive ability that no one else can match. It is part of our personality and make-up. These are what makes us who we are. To use these things correctly is what God wants us to do. It becomes of celebration of God and his creation. To celebrate God is to love God. Our actions become a sort of prayer of thanksgiving and strengthens our relationship with him. Life can be a constant celebration and a new experience every day. It doesn't have to be a life filled with frustration, failure, and struggle. The simpler life is the more beautiful it becomes.

The quicker we acknowledge our sins and shortcomings the quicker we can repair our relationship with God. Once this is done we can then ask the question, “What do you want me to do?” We can take our individual gifts and talents and use them correctly to build a life for ourselves and emulate God through good works and example. Our life becomes a display of God's Creation and beauty. Life is Good. God is Good. We are his children. As the Spirit was present in the Apostles and disciples, so it is present in us. Let us never forget that God loves us.

Hoy celebramos el cumpleaños de la Iglesia. Jesús envió el Espíritu Santo en forma de lenguas de fuego hacia abajo a sus apóstoles y discípulos. Ellos se encargaron de salir a bautizar en el nombre del Padre, del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo, para evangelizar a la Fe, y para construir el Reino de Dios aquí en la tierra. Este evento marcó el comienzo de la Era Apostólica y el comienzo de la Santa Madre Iglesia. Cuanto antes reconozcamos nuestros pecados y defectos más rápido podremos reparar nuestra relación con Dios. Una vez hecho esto podemos entonces hacer la pregunta, "¿Qué quieres que haga?" Podemos llevar nuestros dones y talentos individuales y utilizarlos correctamente para construir una vida para nosotros y para emular a Dios mediante las buenas obras y el ejemplo. Nuestra vida se convierte en una pantalla de la Creación y de la belleza de Dios. La vida es buena. Dios es bueno. Somos sus hijos. A medida que el Espíritu estaba presente en los Apóstoles y discípulos, por lo que está presente en nosotros. No olvidemos nunca que Dios nos ama.

We need to be thankful and aware of all the gifts that God has given us in our lives. Even when we are struggling and might find ourselves in a situation or place where we do not want to be God can be found guiding us and comforting us in our time of need. There is always the potential of being happy even when it might appear to be absolutely impossible for that to happen. But everything is possible with God and he truly does not want us to suffer. As Christian, we cannot surrender to our anxieties or react in a negative way to obstacles and challenges in our lives. We must have complete faith in Our Lord and permit him to strengthen us when we need him the most. Through this action it is possible to find light even in the darkest times in our lives.

The Easter Season is almost over. We have been celebrating the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ for six weeks now. Through the course of this season has our relationship with Jesus changed? Have we embraced the Resurrected Christ and have truly acknowledged him as our savior and allowed him to love us? Have we allowed him to come closer to us and take an active part in our lives? As Christians, it is necessary to contemplate our relationship with Jesus continuously and reflect on what he has done for us. If Jesus is truly our savior and the Son of God then we must treat him as such and not fight against the influence he can have on our actions and our deeds. He can be a powerful force of change if we just surrender to his will.

It is our reality as Christians that Jesus is with us all the time. We are eternally united with him and to the Father through him. That presence is felt by the Holy Spirit but we must accept this relationship to benefit from it. We must completely surrender to it if we are going to live the Christian Experience. Our lives are defined by relationships and what we do with those relationships. It is the same with our relationship with our God. We cannot take this relationship for granted but must continuously build on it. If we do not, we risk the possibility of becoming strangers to Jesus through our own decisions and actions. Jesus never abandons us but we can abandon him.

Being a Christian and a Child of God, our relationship can never be an individual experience. Proof of this is the Holy Trinity. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit work together to bring us to salvation. We are encouraged to live our lives the same way: in a community that we call family and friends. Through a community we are able to strengthen our faith, support each other, and help each other. We can also celebrate our lives together. Through a community our faith becomes alive. We are not afraid to share our weaknesses and fears. It is then through a community that these weaknesses are strengthened and the fears are conquered.

Christ indeed offers the Living Water that is necessary in our lives. Life takes on new meaning with Christ. It gives us purpose and a reason to live. Through Christ we realize that love is the answer to everything. Without this love we are in danger of becoming immersed in everything that is wrong with this world. When we worship or gather together in community to celebrated our God, why does it feel so good? Why do we feel safe and secure? It is because the Love of God is all around us. We are surrounded by people who love us and God is there. He becomes our shield and our protector. A warrior would not go into battle without his armor; we should not live our lives without the protective love of our creator.

Going forward in our lives, we should always remember that God is with us and that he loves us. When we love, it does put us in a helpless state but it is a good state because it means that we have surrendered to God and then he can do his work. We are a masterpiece in the making. Let go and let God do his work.

Tenemos que estar agradecidos y conscientes de todos los dones que Dios nos ha dado en nuestras vidas. Incluso cuando estamos luchando y podríamos encontrarnos en una situación o lugar en el que no queremos ser Dios se puede encontrar que nos guía y nos conforta en nuestro tiempo de necesidad. Siempre existe la posibilidad de ser feliz incluso cuando podría parecer absolutamente imposible para que eso suceda. Pero todo es posible con Dios, y él realmente no quiere que suframos. Como cristianos, no podemos renunciar a nuestras inquietudes o reaccionar de manera negativa a los obstáculos y desafíos en nuestras vidas. Debemos tener fe en Nuestro Señor y permitirle que nos fortalezca cuando lo necesitamos. A través de esta acción, es posible encontrar la luz incluso en los momentos más oscuros de nuestras vidas.

El tiempo de Pascua está a punto de terminar. Hemos estado celebrando la Resurrección de Nuestro Señor Jesucristo durante seis semanas. A través de una comunidad de fe se hace viva. No tenemos miedo de compartir nuestras debilidades y miedos. Cierto es que Cristo ofrece el agua viva que es necesario en nuestras vidas. La vida adquiere un nuevo significado con Cristo. Esto nos da un propósito y una razón para vivir. Por medio de Cristo nos damos cuenta de que el amor es la respuesta a todo. Sin este amor estamos en peligro de convertirse en inmerso en todo lo que está mal en este mundo. Cuando adoramos o reunimos en comunidad para celebrar nuestro Dios, ¿por qué se siente tan bien? ¿Por qué nos sentimos seguros y protegidos? Es porque el amor de Dios está a nuestro alrededor. Estamos rodeados de gente que nos quiere y Dios está allí. Se convierte en nuestro escudo y nuestro protector. Un guerrero no iría a la batalla sin su armadura, no debemos vivir nuestra vida sin el amor protector de nuestro creador.

En el futuro en nuestras vidas, siempre debemos recordar que Dios está con nosotros y que nos ama. Cuando amamos, sí nos pone en estado de indefensión, pero es un buen estado, ya que significa que hemos entregado a Dios y entonces podemos hacer su trabajo. Somos una obra maestra en la fabricación. Dejar ir y dejar que Dios haga su obra.

The Last Supper Discourses in the Gospel of John is a personal moment between Jesus and his disciples. It is the last time he sat with his inner circle and spoke with them before his Passion. It was an intimate moment between friends; sort of a final instruction. The disciples were confused, afraid, and troubled. Jesus, in his humanness, was also preparing himself for his impending suffering. Through it we too can encounter that human Jesus which is so necessary to develop our relationship with him so we can experience a transformation in our own lives. There is a challenge of sorts presented in the words, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” These commandments come directly from the Father and are the ones that offer a blueprint for our own lives. If we truly believe that God is the Father and Christ is the Son, then we are obligated as Christians to follow them to the best of our abilities. They become a starting point in our own journey of faith and dictate how we should conduct ourselves in this confusing world which sends us mixed messages and proclaims that nothing is ever black and white.

Life is indeed hard. There are expectations that we put on ourselves and others that are set by other people that are sometimes beyond our control. With all the challenges and obstacles put forth it is very easy to become lost or confused. That is when bad things can easily happen. To avoid this, Christ must always be the central focus. Through him our relationship and understanding can develop in regards to who we truly are and how important we are in relation to this wonderful creation around us. We are a part of this creation and a part of God's Divine Plan. Each one of us are important and have the ability to make a wonderful difference in this world around us. In fact, we are commissioned to do so. That is what God wants us to do: live our lives to its fullest through him and with him; always with the realization that he is with us.

These commandments are not to be followed through obligation. They are to be followed with the Greatest Commandment in mind:

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Because God is speaking through the prophets and Jesus is God, we must reflect on this constantly. Love is the key to everything. The commandments and instructions of Jesus should be followed because we want to; not because we have to. It should be a true reaction to his love. To know God is to love God. We all have a longing to be loved. We are communal creatures by nature and our every interaction dictates who we are and how we behave. Perfection in our lives and true happiness lies in our ability to love and be loved. This all leads back to the Creator. We were created because he loves us. We are his children; members of his Royal Priesthood. With that we are invited to claim our birthright and react to his call of love. What an opportunity for us all to be truly happy. Happiness lies in a life with God. Everything takes on a new meaning. We can reflect back to the Gospel of John when Andrew and John began to follow Jesus after he was proclaimed the Lamb of God by John the Baptist. He turned to them them and said, “What are you looking for?” Christ is asking all of us that very same question. “What are we looking for?” Are we to concentrate completely on the material things around us or are we going to nourish our spirituality through Sacred Scripture and exercising our faith? We cannot ignore or take for granted that we are spiritual beings that must continually focus on God through our actions and our faith life. This is so important to achieve complete happiness.

This is something that is oftentimes overlooked as we are face constant and difficult choices between our faith and the demands of everyday life. But it must be remembered that each can coexist in complete harmony with the other. And that is the key. Even the most repetitious and menial task can be completed with Christ in our heart, mind, and soul. Through him we are unified with our Father. We are eternally bound together never to be ripped apart except when we choose to do so. And when we do so, there can be drastic consequences. You see, when we sin, we are actually turning away from God. It is a deliberate act.

There is a constant theme that I speak about in Prison Ministry: There is no Recovery without Christ. You can try as hard as you can to do right and not repeat the actions of the past that have led to self-destruction, but you will fail if you do not recognize why you want to do good: for yourself and to be complete by recognizing why you are here. Because of the love of God. The message is the same for all of us: recognize God and his love. For he so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life. It begins and ends with love.

Through this recognition of our creator we can then be able to surrender to his will. All of our troubles and tribulations can be given to him and we can experience it with him. He will never abandon us. He is always with us. In the end, everything will be okay. That is when we can truly feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit, the Love of God in action. We must be susceptible to it in order to receive it. When we then feel the presence of his love, we will want to feel it more. This is when God starts to shape us like an earthen vessel into what he wants us to be. If we resist this, we become hardened and brittle like dried clay.

We must ask ourselves: do we want our hearts to be hardened and brittle or do we want to be nourished by the Living Water of Our Lord Jesus Christ and slowly be shape and formed by him so that we may experience his eternal love. The Holy Spirit can indeed move us and lift us up to the greatest heights. Only if we permit it.

La última cena Discursos en el Evangelio de Juan es un momento personal entre Jesús y sus discípulos. Es la última vez que se sentó con su círculo íntimo y habló con ellos antes de su Pasión. Fue un momento íntimo entre amigos, una especie de instrucción final. Los discípulos estaban confundidos, temerosos, y con problemas. Jesús, en su humanidad, fue también prepararse para su inminente sufrimiento. A través de ella también podemos encontrar que el Jesús humano, que es tan necesaria para el desarrollo de nuestra relación con él, por lo que podemos experimentar una transformación en nuestras propias vidas. Hay un reto de tipo que se presentan en las palabras: "Si me amáis, guardaréis mis mandamientos." Estos mandamientos vienen directamente del Padre y son los que ofrecen un modelo para nuestras propias vidas. Si realmente creemos que Dios es el Padre y Cristo es el Hijo, entonces estamos obligados como cristianos a seguir a lo mejor de nuestras habilidades. Se convierten en un punto de partida en nuestro propio camino de fe y dictan cómo debemos comportarnos en este mundo confuso que nos envía mensajes contradictorios y proclama que nada es blanco y negro.

La vida es realmente difícil. Hay expectativas que ponemos en nosotros mismos y los demás que se establecen por otras personas que a veces están más allá de nuestro control. Con todos los desafíos y obstáculos que pone adelante es muy fácil perderse o confundirse. Es entonces cuando las cosas malas pueden suceder fácilmente. Para evitar esto, Cristo debe ser siempre el centro de atención. A través de él nuestra relación y entendimiento pueden desarrollar en cuanto a lo que realmente somos y lo importante que somos en relación a esta maravillosa creación que nos rodea. Somos parte de esta creación, y una parte del Plan Divino de Dios. Cada uno de nosotros son importantes y tienen la capacidad de hacer una diferencia en este maravilloso mundo que nos rodea. De hecho, tenemos el encargo de hacerlo. Eso es lo que Dios quiere que hagamos: vivir la vida en toda su plenitud a través de él y con él, siempre con la idea de que él está con nosotros.

Estos mandamientos no deben ser seguidos a través de la obligación. Ellos deben ser seguidas con el mandamiento más importante en mente:

"Amarás al Señor tu Dios con todo tu corazón y con toda tu alma y con toda tu mente." Este es el primero y grande mandamiento. Y el segundo es semejante: Amarás a tu prójimo como a ti mismo. 'Toda la ley y los profetas dependen de estos dos mandamientos ".

Porque Dios está hablando a través de los profetas y Jesús es Dios, tenemos que reflexionar sobre esto constantemente. El amor es la clave de todo. Los mandamientos y las instrucciones de Jesús debe ser seguido porque queremos, no porque tenemos que hacerlo. Debe ser una verdadera reacción a su amor. Conocer a Dios es amar a Dios. Todos tenemos el deseo de ser amado. Somos criaturas comunes en la naturaleza y cada una de nuestras interacciones dicta lo que somos y cómo nos comportamos. La perfección en nuestras vidas y la verdadera felicidad reside en nuestra capacidad de amar y ser amado. Todo esto nos lleva de nuevo al Creador. Fuimos creados porque nos ama. Somos sus hijos, miembros de su sacerdocio real. Con eso se nos invita a reclamar nuestro derecho de nacimiento y reaccionar a su llamado de amor. ¡Qué oportunidad para todos nosotros de ser verdaderamente felices. La felicidad se encuentra en una vida con Dios. Todo adquiere un nuevo significado. Podemos reflexionar de nuevo al Evangelio de Juan, cuando Andrew y John comenzaron a seguir a Jesús después de ser proclamado el Cordero de Dios por Juan el Bautista. Él se volvió hacia ellos y les dijo: "¿Qué estás buscando?" Cristo está pidiendo a todos nosotros esa misma pregunta. "¿Qué estamos buscando?" ¿Vamos a concentrarnos por completo en las cosas materiales que nos rodean o vamos a alimentar nuestra espiritualidad a través de la Sagrada Escritura y el ejercicio de nuestra fe? No podemos ignorar o dar por sentado que somos seres espirituales que deben centrarse continuamente en Dios a través de nuestras acciones y nuestra vida de fe. Esto es muy importante para lograr la felicidad completa.

Esto es algo que muchas veces se pasa por alto como somos opciones cara constantes y difíciles entre la fe y las exigencias de la vida cotidiana. Pero hay que recordar que cada uno puede coexistir en armonía con el otro. Y esa es la clave. Incluso la tarea más repetitiva y de baja categoría puede ser completa con Cristo en nuestro corazón, mente y alma. A través de él nos hemos unido con el Padre. Estamos eternamente unidos para no ser destrozado, excepto cuando decidimos hacerlo. Y cuando lo hacemos, las consecuencias pueden ser drásticas. Usted ve, cuando pecamos, en realidad estamos alejando de Dios. Se trata de un acto deliberado.

Hay un tema constante que hablo en el Ministerio de la Prisión: No hay recuperación sin Cristo. Usted puede intentar tan duro como sea posible para hacer las cosas bien y no repetir las acciones del pasado que han llevado a la autodestrucción, pero se producirá un error si no reconoce qué quiere hacer el bien, porque a ti mismo y que finalice en reconocer por qué están aquí. Por el amor de Dios. El mensaje es el mismo para todos nosotros: reconocer a Dios y su amor. Porque tanto amó al mundo que dio a su Hijo único, para que todo el que crea en él no perezca, sino que tenga vida eterna. Comienza y termina con el amor.

A través de este reconocimiento de nuestro creador entonces podemos ser capaces de renunciar a su voluntad. Todos nuestros problemas y tribulaciones se puede dar a él y podemos experimentar con él. Él nunca nos abandonará. Él está siempre con nosotros. Al final, todo va a estar bien. Es entonces cuando podemos realmente sentir la presencia del Espíritu Santo. El Espíritu Santo, el Amor de Dios en acción. Debemos ser sensibles a ella para recibirla. Cuando se siente la presencia de su amor, vamos a querer sentirlo más. Esto es cuando Dios comienza a moldearnos como una vasija de barro en lo que él quiere que seamos. Si nos resistimos a esto, se endurecen y frágil como la arcilla seca.

Debemos preguntarnos: ¿qué queremos que nuestros corazones sean endurecidos y quebradizos o queremos ser alimentada por el agua viva de Nuestro Señor Jesucristo, y poco a poco se forma y formado por él, para que podamos experimentar su amor eterno. El Espíritu Santo ciertamente nos puede mover y levantarnos a las mayores alturas. Sólo si lo permitimos.
