70,904 NEW CASES marks an increase of 2335. This keeps us in a states of decline based on the seven day rolling average and further develops the downward slope for the sixth consecutive day which is some very positive news. 37,001 of the new cases come from just six states: California, Florida, Texas, Georgia, Arizona, and Louisiana. The remaining 44 states account for 33, 903 of the cases. DAILY DEATHS remain steady at 1462 and are plateauing. Daily deaths are known as a LAGGING INDICATOR so they are plateauing now where The Daily NEW CASES reached plateau around July 16th. Four of the BIG SIX states are now in decline while one is LEVELING OFF (see below)
