40,612 NEW CASES YESTERDAY which marks an increase of 2,930 cases from the previous day and continues the overall DECLINE in NEW CASES for the past 23 days. 20.689 of the NEW CASES come from six states: California, Florida, Texas, Georgia, Illinois, and Tennessee. The remaining 44 states account for 19, 923 of the NEW CASES. DAILY DEATHS came in at 589. The TOTAL ACTIVE CASES in the country continue to fall also. There are about 2.46 million ACTIVE CASES out of a total of 5.6 million total cases. We are currently at 43%.
