41,211 NEW CASES which marks a DECREASE of 769 cases from the previous day and continues an OVERALL DECREASE of cases for the past 38 days based on the 7 day rolling average. The AVERAGE DAILY NEW CASES is now down to 42,000. ACTIVE CASES are also on a DECLINE which is great news. Only 40% of ALL CASES remain active. The numbers are fundamentally turning. 17, 635 of the NEW CASES come from six states: California, Florida, Texas, Georgia, Illinois, and Tennessee. The remaining 44 states account for 23, 576 cases. Daily deaths continue to decline and came in at 1090.
