CORONA VIRUS UPDATE JULY 23RD 2020
71,967 NEW CASES WHICH marks an increase of 4488 cases. Even though this is an increase it still keeps us on the plateau when considering the 7 day rolling average which puts us at 68,463 per day over the last 7 days. This has actually been the case for over eight days now. The downside to this is that we are not over the HUMP yet and are still looking for a downward trend which hopefully might happen within the next few days. This week will tell a lot if we continue to plateau, shift upward, or go down. Plateauing is a good thing but obviously a downward trend is better. Seven states account for 43,307 of the new cases: California, Florida, Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, Louisiana, and Tennessee. The remaining 43 states account for just 28,660 of the cases. Daily deaths remain low at 1205.
