O WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING IN ILLINOIS? 27, 246 new cases yesterday. This was led by spikes in Illinois, Massachusetts, California, Maryland, and Virginia. These five states displayed unusually high numbers that broke previous patterns. Illinois especially with 3239 new cases. If these states stayed within their margins, the downward trend would have continued. Overall, the numbers posted yesterday are very good with daily deaths continuing to fall.
