CORONA VIRUS IN MAY AND JUNE 2020

The Month of May saw a total of 779, 226 cases of Corona Virus in comparison to June which saw a total of 873,354 cases. This displays 94,128 more cases in June than May. The average amount of cases per day in May was 25,136. The average amount of cases per day for June was 29, 111. This shows an average of 3975 more cases per day in June than May.

In mid-June a new surge began led predominantly by five states: California, Texas, Florida, North Carolina, and Arizona. Taking away the surge in these states the amount of New Cases is actually less than the new cases in May. 45 states are basically doing well regarding Corona Virus with some spikes being generated. These spikes last a few days then quickly die out. It is these five states that are causing this surge and skewing the figures.

The good news is that, when these surges start to fade in these five states, the overall numbers and average cases will go down.

More good news is that the DAILY DEATHS have totally collapsed and are down 90%. The majority of infections are happening with those who are 18 to 30 right now. Many different reasons have been given but boil down to these: The recent protests and the ignoring of social distancing at bars, night clubs, and beaches. In other words, this is easily reversible if these areas are addressed.
