CORONA VIRUS UPDATE JUNE 20TH 2020

CORONA VIRUS UPDATE JUNE 20TH 2020

33, 539 NEW CASES. ARE WE IN A SURGE OR A SPIKE? The next few days will tell. But again, this is being led in key states and does not reflect the overall status of the nation. between California, Texas, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Arizona, a total of around 17, 500 new cases have been reported while the rest of the nation reported a little above 16,000. The issue is in these six states and does not reflect the overall trend of decline. California has been surging for weeks followed by Florida and Texas. It will be interesting where this goes. Total deaths is down again which is a good thing and indicates what the CDC has said: we are plateauing. I would argue that we are still in decline based on the Median New Cases compared to May but this latest increase in these six states kind of challenges that statement. The next 3 days will tell.
