CORONA VIRUS UPDATE MAY 02, 2020

CORONA VIRUS UPDATE MAY 02, 2020

36,007 new cases yesterday led by a slight surge in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Georgia who all came in above their average cases by a lot (3137,1643,1438,1242). This is something that will happen from time to time as mentioned before: spikes and large dips that basically become outliers as a LEVELING OFF occurs and a decline begins. Daily Deaths went down to 1897 which is great news (no death is good) in comparison further emphasizing the beginning of a decline. Daily Deaths peaked at 2683 on April 22nd. Since then they have been on a downward trajectory.
