A SPIKE IS A SPIKE which is expected: Yesterday was a rough ride with 38,958 new cases. This was led by a surge in New York (8864 cases) and Massachusetts (4946 cases ). Pennsylvania and Illinois saw increased cases also. So basically, the increase was in a few states and not across the board. Today will most likely see a "SETTLE DOWN " of sorts and the numbers should stabilize back to the pattern they were in. In other words, yesterday was possibly an outlier. Total deaths continue to drop which is also an indication that LEVELING OFF has been achieved and now a decline has begun.
