23,290 NEW CASES. Again, the figures should be in the mid-teens right now but the surge in cases in California, Illinois, Maryland, and Virginia keep modifying the trend. California posted a whopping 3139 new cases yesterday. Massachusetts continues to post great daily figures with only 789 new cases. This is the sixth day Massachusetts has stayed under 1000 cases.
