40, 184 NEW CASES led by a surge in 6 states: California, Texas, Florida, Georgia, Arizona, and North Carolina. The totals in these states make up over 20,000 of the new cases while the remaining 44 states total the other 20,000. Total deaths remain low which is fantastic at 649. We need to keep a watch on these surging states. It was mentioned that this was expected but there is a very negative reaction to what is happening here. Overall individual states are doing very well except for these.
